We have over 25 years of combined design and manufacturing experience in EMF / RF / mmWave detection and measurement systems, 10+ years experience in Li-Ion Battery Management Systems (BMS), and 20+ years experience in UAV/UAS Drone systems (propulsion, battery, comms, controls, and mechanical/aerodynmics).
9CI has patents in energy storage (tightly coupled magnetic field), aerospace (ballistic parachute deployment), and consumer electronics (handheld meters, handheld meters, wearable meters, wearable meters).
9CI has contributed to patents in UAV/UAS (highly integrated airframe systems design) and defence (lubricant applicator system, handguard system).
David has 20 years of design experience across many fields: automotive (ICE + EV), aerospace (UAS/drone), remote sensing, RADAR systems, and metrology.
David is responsible for business strategy and product development.
Bruce has designed and hand built electronic projects, useful devices and toys since the age of five when he first learned to solder. Bruce has been a licensed "ham radio" operator since the age of thirteen. He mostly focuses on VHF, UHF and millimetre wave RF design.
At 9CI, Bruce continues his childhood activities (continues to play) in production.
Ian brings expertise in software development and system integration to the 9CI team.
Ian is responsible for ERP/PLM system architecture and software development.
Rupom brings experience in high volume manufacturing and quality control from the automotive industry.
Rupom is responsible for production, quality control, and inventory.
